X-2b
X-2b is the latest version, now all studdless. The hip cage now is two piece, hinged. THis lets it turn on one foot up to 45 degress per step cycle. In two steps it will turn 90 degrees. In the last version as seen it had to "shuffle foot to turn". It had no mechanical way to turn, thus a sofware fix for a mechanical issue. Now we have the mechanical issue fixed and it can turn on its none weight leg both right or left with only 1 dof used.
New foot plate that is over 50% lighter.
New power supply: this is a biggy too. X runs on 12 AA's and that is alot of weight. I have moded my NXT bricks 6 cells with a power out. So I can run all the third parties muxs from the NXT. The draw back or bad news is this limits the run time alot but not lick its going on a marathon. Videos and new pics soon.
